Stephen Jackson Has Honest Admission About Ray Allen
Stephen Jackson and Ray Allen were NBA contemporaries for many years, and they battled against each other regularly.
Even though many years have gone by, Jackson still hasn’t forgotten his feelings about Allen, and he believes that he “wasn’t good” and didn’t deserve all the praise he received.
“It’s a lot of players I thought wasn’t good; that didn’t deserve all the stuff they was getting: Ray Allen. I didn’t have a better career than him, but when I played against him, I had some great games. I just feel that. I’m not saying Ray wasn’t great, but I’m a basketball player. I wasn’t one-dimensional. I just think I was a better player in-game. But when it comes to lining up on the court against a lot of guys that’s Hall of Famers, I bust them most nights. It’s just the truth. I should have been an All-Star in multiple years,” Jackson said.

In that statement, Jackson has angered all of the people who loved Allen’s career and all that he brought to the league.
Those loyal people will push back against that because they think that Allen is one of the most important players of his generation.
He may not have received the number of accolades as some of his teammates, but Allen was a huge part of the Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle SuperSonics, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat.
Jackson said that Allen had talent, but he believes that he did more during his years in the association.
Still, there is no doubt that this talk from Jackson is going to make people upset because they will feel it’s a huge knock on Allen and his triumphant 18 seasons in the league.
