The Experimental Fighters got their 6th win in a match-thriller

In an exciting game that opened the curtain on the 10th game of the Elite League, the Experimental Fighters defeated Trikala 103-97 in overtime, reaching 6-4 and climbing into the upper echelons of the standings.

How did the match go?

Trikala entered more dynamically, taking advantage of the guests’ mistakes and leading 18-9 in the 8th minute. But the Warriors countered at the end of the quarter with a 9-2 run, cutting it to 20-18.

The second quarter was balanced, with both teams struggling to attack. The hosts, having high percentages in two-pointers, went to the locker room with a 43-39 lead.

In the third quarter the Warriors entered determined, oozing energy and concentration. With a three-pointer by Darliston, they escaped for the first time with a double-digit difference (46-57), creating new momentum for the rest of the game.

In the finale of regular time, Trikala found two big shots with Jones, while after a steal and a layup they went ahead with 12” left. But Katsamouris sent the game to extra five minutes with 1/2 shots (86-86).

In overtime, the Experimental Warriors were clearly cooler and more efficient. With a total run of 17-11 they “locked” the victory, leaving with a valuable “double” from a difficult home.
