Kevin Durant Poised To Make Big Impact With Rockets Offense
Who did the Houston Rockets get when they signed Kevin Durant a few weeks ago?
It goes without saying that they received one of the best shooters in the league, and the stats back that up.
According to NBA University, Durant had the sixth-most ISO possessions in the NBA last season and led the league in ISO efficiency.
Along with the rest of the Rockets roster, Durant is going to put on an offensive show in the months ahead.

Since the start of his career, Durant has been one of the most impressive players when it comes to one-on-one showdowns.
He has a way of reading his opponents and finding the ability to score over them.
He is going to bring an entire tool bag to the Rockets, and they are hoping to make the most of it.
The Rockets know the upside with Durant is huge, and many believe that he is exactly what the team needs to become the best in the West.
Anything short of a strong playoff run will be met with big disappointment from fans.
Of course, the Rockets want more than just ISO skills with Durant, because they also want him to be a leader.
Houston has a young roster that would love more guidance and leadership, especially in the postseason.
They did well in the regular season but instantly got outworked in the playoffs, and they want Durant to change that in 2025-26.
He’s a terrific shooter, but Durant can be more than that, too.
There have been some complaints about this leadership qualities with previous teams, so will Durant silence them in the new season?
