Steve Nash Has Landed A New Job With Suns
Steve Nash is one of the most noteworthy figures in Phoenix Suns history, so it only makes sense that he is coming back to the team when it needs him most.
Suns owner Mat Ishbia announced that Nash would be coming to Phoenix as a senior advisor, tasked with helping the franchise “define our future for years to come.”
“Steve Nash was an amazing player and exactly what the Phoenix Suns are all about. His grit, toughness, and winning mentality have defined our organization in the past, and I’m so excited to share that Steve is formally joining the Suns as a senior advisor and will help us define our future for years to come,” Ishbia posted on X.

Nash spent 10 years of his career with the Suns, averaging 14.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 9.4 assists during that time.
He got his start with the team, moved to the Dallas Mavericks for six seasons, and then came back for eight more runs with Phoenix.
Of course, he ended his career in Los Angeles, but people will always remember his time with the Suns and all that he did for the team.
A senior advisor can do many things for a squad, which is good because Phoenix will need a lot from Nash.
Everyone can agree that the Bradley Beal/Kevin Durant era was a bust, and the Suns are looking to turn a page and move on.
They need to make smart moves and develop the players they have now, as well as any that will arrive soon.
Nash will have a hand in all of that, and he could inject enthusiasm, intelligence, and experience into everything they do.
They will need more than Nash, but the Suns are happy to have him back on board.
