New LeBron James Barbie Doll Is Going Viral
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has done it all since joining the NBA more than 20 years ago.
Once again, he has somehow found a way to make history.
According to NBACentral, James now officially has his very own Barbie doll.
Mattel announced that James will be the first male “Kenbassador,” and James was able to show off his brand new doll.
The figurine looks just like James, decked out in some swanky off-court clothing.
The James doll will be available at Target and Walmart, as well as online at Amazon, starting next week.
Diehard Lakers fans will be able to purchase the figure for just $75.

Mattel says the doll was created as a collaboration with the LeBron James Family Foundation and actually stands one inch taller than the traditional Ken doll.
James isn’t the first athlete to be made by the Barbie company, but he’s the first NBA icon.
WNBA legend Sue Bird and tennis superstar Venus Williams are just some of the female athletes who have become Barbie figures in the past, and now James joins their very exclusive club.
$75 may be a steep price point for some people, but these dolls are sure to sell quickly.
Over the years, anything related to James has become a sure thing on the market and merchandise related to him always flies off the shelves.
After 22 years in the NBA, it’s getting harder and harder for James to find new ways to set records, break molds, and reach huge milestones.
This latest achievement for James reminds everyone that there really isn’t anyone else like him in the NBA.
