New flooding in SEF after the storm in Attica

Problems at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship during the Panhellenic Tae Kwon Do Championship

The heavy downpour that hit Attica in the last few hours once again caused serious problems at the Stadium of Peace and Friendship, which was once again faced with flooding in its interior.

The Panhellenic Tae Kwon Do Championship was being held at SEF, with the officials particularly worried, as the cumulative influx of water into the field almost led to the postponement of the event.

Despite the difficulties and images of water covering parts of the facilities, the games continued as normal, with the organizers immediately intervening to ensure the smooth running of the matches.

This new flood comes to be added to a series of similar incidents that have been recorded in SEF in recent years, raising again questions about the adequacy of the infrastructure and the need for immediate interventions to protect the historic stadium.
