Jimmy Butler And Stephen Curry Combined For Impressive Offensive Stat On Tuesday

If it weren’t for Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors would be fighting for the eighth seed in the West right now.

Instead, they are officially the seventh seed and preparing to take on the Houston Rockets.

On X, the league notified fans that Butler and Curry combined for the second-most points ever in a Play-In game.

This is a duo that clearly works well together and now they get to see what they can achieve in the postseason.

There were many concerns about Butler when he came to the Warriors earlier this season.

Some fans thought he might not fit in well, could become disgruntled, and might not work with the plans of head coach Steve Kerr.

Instead, he has come to life in a big way and has been seemingly very happy with Golden State.

Since his trade to the Warriors, Butler has averaged 17.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, shooting 47.6 percent from the field.

Beyond the numbers, Butler has had the right attitude and has helped the chemistry and culture of the team.

They have been playing with more confidence and better energy than earlier this year.

Curry has had many great teammates throughout his career, such as Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and more.

But Butler might end up being one of the best, especially if they can both score like this night after night.

The Play-In is over for the Warriors, but things are about to get much harder, and now Curry and Butler have to continue producing this sort of output.
