Daniel Jones Reveals Honest Thoughts On Colts’ Offensive Line
The Indianapolis Colts‘ offensive line has reached a level of performance that recalls the franchise’s best years of pass protection.
Seven years ago, the unit allowed just 18 sacks with Andrew Luck at quarterback.
Through eight games in 2025, they have surrendered nine sacks and would be on pace to match that elite standard.
The combination of disciplined pass protection and physical run blocking has fueled one of the most efficient offensive attacks in the NFL.
Current quarterback Daniel Jones recently acknowledged the group’s impact on the Colts’ success.
“It’s tremendous. We’ve talked a lot about just how well they’ve played and how consistently they’ve played both the run game and the pass game. A huge credit to them. I think them staying healthy, being able to keep that chemistry, and communicating, and when other guys have come in, they’ve played really well too. So, there’s a strong culture in that room. There’s a high standard, and they all hold themselves to it,” Jones said.

The offensive line delivered another strong performance in the Week 8 victory against the Tennessee Titans.
On 35 passing attempts, the group allowed just four pressures, with only one resulting in a sack.
Their pass-blocking efficiency rating of 92.9 from Pro Football Focus ranked fourth among all teams.
Left tackle Bernhard Raimann gave up the sack but was not charged with any other pressures throughout the game.
Behind the Colts’ resurgence stands offensive line coach Tony Sparano Jr., who has quietly become one of the most important figures in the organization.
He arrived facing a challenging task under head coach Shane Steichen.
The pair had to rebuild a unit that had lost its identity in recent seasons.
Sparano has helped veterans Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith return to their previous form while also developing younger players.
Jones deserves recognition for his steady play, but the offensive line is the foundation of the Colts’ success.
