Super Cup: definitively outside Panathinaikos
Panathinaikos, who returns from Australia on September 25, will not participate in the Super Cup.
Panathinaikos has decided that he would not sign up for the Super Cup of Rhodes following the decision of the Stoiximan GBL Board of Directors to hold the event on September 26 and 27.
The Greens expressed their disagreement with the tournament on these dates, returning from Australia and the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament on the early morning of September 25th.
The historic tournament, which will take place this year outside Greece, is completed on September 22, but the flight from Oceania lasts 22 hours in response, and the Greens must also organize the Euroleague Media Day.
Panathinaikos had submitted a comprehensive proposal since July 23, according to which the couples of the Super Cup semifinals would be held simultaneously with the first championship match at the headquarters of the lowest rankings (Prometheus and AEK).
In the same proposal, Panathinaikos had predicted that AEK was punished for the first race and also proposed the postponement of that sentence. As for the final, Panathinaikos had proposed on December 7th.
