Turkey – Czech Republic 92-78: Sengun and Osman cleaned
Turkey achieved its second victory in the Eurobasket 2025 after dominating the Czech 92-78.
Turkey remains unbeaten, with Ergkin Ataman's team prevailing 92-78 of the National Czech. Turkey is closer than ever to qualifying at 16, and now aims and wants the first place in the group.
On the other hand, the Czechs are very difficult with a 0-2 record and defeat by Portugal can play a very big role.
The two teams will be playing again on Sunday (30/8). The winners are expected to have an easy afternoon against Portugal (21:15), while the Czech Republic will try to stay alive and win Estonia (14:45).
Leading the winners and the game was Alperen Shengun who touched Triple-Double with 23 points (8/9 two-pointers), 12 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 cuts. Cesti Osman was also very good with 21 points (4/5 two -pointers, 2/6 three -pointers) and 1 steal, while Ercan Osmani offered 16 points (5/6 two -pointers, 2/3 three -pointers) plus 3 rebounds.
For the Czechs Martin Petka stood out with 23 points (4/6 two -pointers, 5/7 three -pointers) and 5 rebounds. From 9 points Zidek, Sever and Kizling scored.
