Jordan Love Sends Confident Message About His Scrambling Ability
The Green Bay Packers have a long history of elite quarterbacks.
They’ve always had someone who can establish his presence in the pocket, sling the football down the field, and make every throw at all levels.
However, those quarterbacks haven’t been known for their rushing ability.
Brett Favre was a pocket passer, and Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best in that regard.
Now, current QB Jordan Love likes his chances as a scrambler, and he put his team on notice with a recent statement.
“I think a lot of guys sleep on me in this locker room. I’m a 20 mph guy,” Love said.

That’s just to say that not even his teammates believe he can be a dual-threat QB, so he may try to prove them wrong.
The Packers don’t need him to be Lamar Jackson, and he’s taken off to gain some difficult yards many times in the past, but adding that layer to his game could work wonders for head coach Matt LaFleur’s offense.
Love has a strong arm, and he learned plenty of tricks during his time backing up Rodgers.
He can make throws from difficult angles and place the ball in tight windows, and he’s not afraid to take shots down the field.
Defenses rarely focus on trying to stop him from running because he rarely scrambles.
So, if he truly wants to show off his speed, he should have plenty of opportunities to do so this season.
