Girls: Greece – Romania 80-47

The Girls’ National Team did not leave much room for the hosts and reached an 80-47 victory over Romania on the last day of the international tournament.

Greece came into the game very strongly, going up 22-4 (8’20”) and allowing their opponent just two field goals in the entire first period and five points in the final minute. The picture did not change in the second quarter with the Greek team dominating and Kynamea beating the clock and writing the half time score 35-14.

Four points from Vougiouka and four from Militsopoulou led to 43-17 (22′) with the latter leading the match to a double score (56-28, 27’25”). Romania tried to get closer in the fourth period (62-42, 32′), but our representative group answered immediately with Tulupi writing 67-41 (33′) and Vlacho leading to 71-43 (35’30”). Consecutive points from Husela wrote 78-47 (38′) with Greece reaching victory with the final 80-47.
