Four Arrested in Multi-State Investigation Into Shooting of Keion White
Law enforcement officials announced on Wednesday the arrests of four men in connection with the February shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive end Keion White. The arrests follow an eight-month multi-state investigation dubbed “Operation D-Line.”
The investigation culminated with the identification of 36-year-old Gregory Walker as the alleged gunman. Walker has been charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A second suspect, 35-year-old Curtis Green, faces misdemeanor charges for brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
A third suspect, 38-year-old Marquis Davis, was arrested in Atlanta on October 7. His apprehension led to a substantial narcotics seizure by the Atlanta Police Department, including 59 pounds of marijuana, fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Davis is currently facing narcotics trafficking charges in addition to the warrant related to the San Francisco shooting.
Law enforcement agencies across California and Georgia collaborated on the eight-month investigation.
The Dahlia Lounge Incident
The shooting took place at approximately 4 a.m. on February 9, 2026, at the Dahlia Lounge in San Francisco’s Mission District. White was hosting a private Super Bowl party at the venue when a dispute reportedly began with members of rapper Lil Baby’s entourage over entry to the club. The confrontation escalated, resulting in the gunfire that injured the defensive end.
The investigation into the incident required coordination between several agencies, including the San Francisco Police Department, the Atlanta Police Department, the Los Angeles Police Department, and departments in Stockton and Irvine. The scale of the operation reflected the complexity of tracking suspects who moved between states following the high-profile incident.
White’s Recovery and 2026 Performance
Despite the off-season injury and subsequent recovery process, White has returned to the field for the start of the 2026 NFL season. He has played in all five games for the 49ers, who remain unbeaten at 5-0.
Analysis of his performance suggests he has regained his pre-injury form, contributing three sacks and nine tackles to a defense that currently ranks among the league’s best. His ability to anchor the defensive line despite the February incident has been a significant factor in the team’s early-season success. While the legal proceedings against Walker, Green, and Davis continue, the 49ers have not reported any lingering physical setbacks for White regarding the injury.
