A Meeting of Minds: OKA and Lewis & Wood Present a Patterned Bedroom Collection
OKA are delighted to announce the collaboration with renowned British fabric and wallpaper house, Lewis & Wood.
This partnership pairs two quintessentially British brands grounded in a shared appreciation for pattern, colour and craftsmanship.
The OKA x Lewis & Wood collection
Centred on a renewed focus on bedroom design for OKA, the OKA x Lewis & Wood collection includes two new upholstered headboard styles and three fully upholstered made-to-order storage beds, each available from a UK single to super king.
Also launching is a collection of softly pleated lampshades in two prints, Lewis & Wood’s Totem Mini and OKA’s Sheki, alongside three coordinating patterned cushions, designed to create a layered and deeply inviting bedroom look.
OKA have always valued patterns and colours that become iconic not through intention alone, but how they are loved and lived with by our customers.
With this in mind, the collection brings together two of Lewis & Wood’s most-loved patterns, Totem and Wild Rice, alongside OKA’s iconic Sheki print, thoughtfully reworked for this collaboration.
Totem is defined by its intricacy and layered depth, while Wild Rice introduces a quieter moment, allowing the eye to rest. This sense of layering runs throughout the collection, both visually and materially, with exclusive new colourways developed to sit seamlessly within the existing OKA range of pattern, colour and texture.
The colour story draws on shared references from both brands: softened spruce, dark seafoam and apricot, creating a balanced palette that feels both familiar and new.
The collaboration also reinterprets OKA’s signature Sheki design. Originally a hand screen-printed pattern layered with hand-stitched embroidery, Sheki has been reimagined through a hand-painted process developed with a specialist artist, retaining its spirit while introducing a more fluid feel.
Bringing these designs together required a careful balance of consideration for scale, colour and texture. Pattern scales have been thoughtfully varied across the collection. From the delicate Totem Mini on lampshades to larger-scale motifs on the upholstered beds and headboards, ensuring each element works both individually and in harmony as part of a palette of prints.
The launch responds to a growing focus on sleep, wellness and slower living, with bedrooms increasingly seen as spaces for retreat, expression and restoration.
This collection offers a considered way to bring pattern, colour and comfort together in a cohesive scheme that feels both expressive and deeply restful.
OKA x Lewis & Wood is a meeting of two British brands that champion lived-in, expressive interiors, where pattern, colour and craftsmanship are woven into everyday life.
The result is a collection that feels warm, layered and full of character, designed for homes that are truly lived in.
