Stats Show How Kenny Clark Is Thriving With Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys made a shocking trade just before the season started by sending edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers for two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. It was a move that signaled to most fans that the Cowboys weren’t serious about winning this season, but it hasn’t turned out that way.

One reason that the trade has been working out is that Clark has played well, and stats show how he is thriving with the Cowboys.

Clark has continued to be the consistent presence he had been throughout his nine seasons with Green Bay, and with 23 combined tackles and 3.0 sacks in 10 games for Dallas, his numbers are approaching some of the best of his career. Now that the Cowboys have added Quinnen Williams in a deadline trade with the New York Jets, Dallas suddenly has one of the most dangerous interior duos in the NFL.

Clark recently turned 30 and could be an anchor up front for years to come. With Williams taking heat off of him, his pass-rush win rate could increase even more.

A huge Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles could push the Cowboys back into playoff contention. Their new defensive tackles will have their hands full stopping Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, but if they can do so, Dallas could remain a threat in the NFC East.
