Women’s National Team: First qualifier against Croatia in Kozani
Six months after the EuroBasket final hosted in Greece, the Women’s National Team makes its own new beginning tonight (12/11), on the road to EuroBasket 2027. Our representative group will face Croatia at the Lefkovrysi Indoor Gymnasium in Kozani, for the first match of the 6th group of the qualifying phase.
The jamball is scheduled for 19:00, with live broadcast by ERT2 SPORT.
Statements and readiness of the team
The match is expected to be particularly demanding, as underlined by the federal coach Petros Prekas, who stated that he is optimistic about the readiness and passion of the internationals.
The leader of the team, Artemis Spanou, expressed her enthusiasm for this new effort:
“Tomorrow begins a new journey. We are all very happy to be with the team again. All the qualifying games will be difficult, but we will give our best. We want to take advantage of our home base and with the help of the crowd to win.”

Croatia in Kozani
The Croatian team is already in Greece, with coach Stipe Bralic having at his disposal:
Matea Tadic, Mihaela Lazic, Nika Muhl, Carla Erzavec, Savonte Zelius, Mia Vuksic, Carmen Cisic, Ana Vojtulek, Adriana Cvitkovic, Adela Strije, Patricia Bura, Ivana Udjevic, Ana-Marija Begić and Nina Novak.
In the other match of the 6th group, at 18:00, North Macedonia welcomes Denmark.
