Insider Names 4 Players On Knicks’ Radar Ahead Of Season
The New York Knicks have already made some impressive changes to their roster this summer, but they may not be done yet.
According to Ian Begley, the Knicks are currently looking at four potential candidates to join the roster for the 2025-26 season.
Some familiar faces are working out for New York, and they could squeeze their way into the lineup right before training camp.
“Veteran shooter Matt Ryan is on Knicks’ radar for a deal ahead of training camp, per SNY sources. Ryan was with New York last season. Dennis Smith Jr. played well in informal scrimmages today with other Knicks. Club is finalizing training camp invites/decisions. Big man Alex Len is also on NYK radar for a deal. He played well in workout today. Trey Jemison III remains on club’s radar as well,” Begley posted on X.

Matt Ryan, Dennis Smith Jr., Alex Len, and Trey Jemison III might not be the biggest names in the NBA, but they could get the job done for the Knicks.
They are all proven vets who are comfortable coming off the bench, and they wouldn’t cost the Knicks too much.
That is a very important point for the Knicks, who are already spending a lot of money on their lead stars and don’t have a lot of cash to spare.
They are not looking for another starter right now, but are instead trying to find a financially smart talent who can provide for the second unit.
Ryan, Smith, Len, and Jemison would be happy to help if the Knicks decide they fit the bill.
Right now, all four of these players are working out with the team as training camp gets closer.
They are all waiting for good news from the front office and may get it soon.
