She was born to an 18-year-old mother, Virginia (née King); however, her biological father, Charles Foster Harmon Sr., an Air Force airman, left two months before she was born. Moore’s ancestry roots trace back to the South Central and Southern United States, predominantly Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia.
